ARROZ ALA CUBANA


(translated as Cuban Rice)

INGREDIENTS:
finely chopped garlic
finely chopped onion
diced bell pepper
diced potato
diced carrots
raisins
ground beef/pork
soy sauce
tomato sauce
catsup
water
salt
pepper
fried banana (saba)
fried egg (sunny side up)
cooked white rice

DIRECTIONS:
Saute garlic, onion and bell pepper. Throw in ground beef/pork into the pan with sauted ingredients. Add potato, carrot,raisins, soy sauce, tomato sauce and catsup. Add water as necessary. Bring to a boil or until potato and carrots are cooked.

Serve with rice, fried banana and fried egg.
